or download Elements of War: 1337 Board, which allows far greater camera control:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/elements-o.../1337-board-v7Game Type:Level system, capture the points
Do damage or heal your team to gain XP, gain enough XP to gain a new level. New ability and more health/mana
Simply stand on the control point to push to the next control point. More team members on the point means the less time you gotta stand on it.
HUD/UI:Summed up in this photo:
http://www.kingdomscollide.com/forum....php?f=5&t=123Player Physics:No running or walking, speed is based on direction.
Forward 100
Backwards 50/75
Left/Right 75
Bunny-Hopping(Jumping over and over) is the fastest way to move around.
Slope Jumping is landing/jumping on a slope, aka a hill. You can gain extreme speed if going downhill.
Strafe Jumping(Forward, jump, let go of foward, strafe left or right and aim left or right) allows you to "curve" in the air and gain slight speed.
DuckJump is summed up by the name. You jump higher than a normal jump.
New to Kingdoms Collide:Rolling - Press duck and strafe left/right to perform a roll
Roll Jumping - Do the above, but add jumping
Melee Combat:Attacking:Before you attack, you must move your mouse in a direction.
Down = Overhead attack
Up = Stab
Left/Right = Left/Right side attack
After attacking, you will slow down. To avoid this, you must jump at a certain time.
If both players attack in the same direction, the attacks are canceled out.
Blocking:Hold your block button(+Attack2) and then move the mouse in a direction.
A successful block will hault their movement and allow you a free attack. If you're the attacker and don't wish to be haulted, try and bunny-hop and strafe jump to their sides.
You must aim in the direction the attack is coming from:
ie if they do an overhead attack, you must aim up. Aiming down will fail the block and you'll take damage.
Aiming in the other direction, say left/right while they do a stab or overhead will just block the attack.
Weapons:Dagger:Unblockable(Except shielf from the front, I assume)
Does a low amount of damage
Backstab = Attack from behind, has a small delay, but if the time passes the enemy will die, period.
Attack2 allows wall grabbing, sometimes climbing
Weak = Swords
Powerful = Shield, heal, bow, certain magic
Swords:1/2/3/4 just grants extra damage. Short sword is usually with a masterbow, pure mage, dagger, shield
Weak = Bows, magic
Powerful = Daggers
Bows:Bows just grand extra damage.
Masterbow is currently super powerful
Weak = Shield, daggers
Powerful = Magic, daggers, swords
Strategy: Bunny-Hop away, turn, then attack. Attacking with a bow slows your movement until you release
Javelin:Appears to have longer range than a sword(UnknowN)
Unable to use a shield or block, instead, you'll throw the javelin for a massive amount of damage. Currently you cannot pick the jav up after a throw.
Throwing Knives:Magic:Heal:Yourself or team(Healing a team member will grant XP, a lot of it infact)
Bug - Healing a team member will remove their mana
Two player strategy: One cast a fireball and continue to take damage while the other heals
Shadow Imbue(Shadowmourne):Doing damage with any weapon steals their mana and gives to yourself.
Fireball:+Attack to cast the fireball, +Attack2 to throw it
Fireball2:Two fireballs, same as above
Holding a fireball will cause damage to yourself. Fireballs have an AoE(Area of Effect) and can deal massive damage to yourself.
You can cast both fireballs before attacking with either. You must throw one to stop taking damage, the other will then be a free move
Teleport:Instant ten/15 foot teleport
Invisibility:If you're in the sunlight, it doesn't work. Must hide in shadow
Firecircle:Massive amount of damage, but requires most of your mana. While casting you won't be able to move
Ice Beam:Currently super easy to hit with, haults the enemy and freezes them in place. However, while frozen your damage is reduced
Light Beam:Useful for haulting bunny-hopping, can be used for massive damage upclose, finally a good finishing move. Also, it can be used to chip away at the enemy health if you use it here and there and then regain mana. However, hard to hit with...
Light Blast:Around 30 damage, instant cast, circle around you
Berserk:Requires the +Berserk hotkey. Stops all damage. But I believe you die anyways after the spell ends if you took enough damage. You'll also gain a speed boost
